A. Overview
l Program Name: 2025 MIKTA Youth Dialogue
l Dates: July 23 (Wednesday) – July 25 (Friday), 2025
l Location: Seoul (Specific venues to be announced later)
l Eligibility:
- University (including graduate) students from MIKTA member countries (including those on leave of
absence)
- Individuals with an understanding of MIKTA and multilateral diplomacy and a strong interest in the
UN Security Council
- Passionate individuals with fluent English communication skills who aspire to become next-generation
global leaders
l Key Information
- MIKTA is a cross-regional consultative group established in 2013 by five countries: Mexico, Indonesia,
Korea, Türkiye, and Australia.
- Youth from Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Türkiye, and Australia are invited to participate in the MIKTA
Youth Dialogue hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. This program offers
a meaningful opportunity to engage in discussions on international issues with participants from
diverse backgrounds and to grow as future leaders driving global change.
l Program Highlights
1. Welcome Reception and Guest Lectures by Experts
2. MIKTA Mock Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) and Mock Foreign Ministers’ Meeting
3. Communication Event with the Diplomatic Corps in Korea
4. On-site visits related to the program themes
** All programs will be conducted in English and will be non-residential (accommodation provided only
for participants from outside the capital area or abroad)
B. Application Process
l Application Period: May 8 (Thursday) – June 1 (Sunday), 2025
l Number of Participants to Be Selected: 30

l Selection Process:
- 1st Round: Document screening
- 2nd Round: In-person interview for domestic applicants / online interview via ZOOM for international
applicants
l Required Documents:
- Google Forms application
- Proof of university enrollment (e.g., certificate of enrollment or other official document showing
academic affiliation)
- (Optional) Letter of recommendation from a university or department head
l Final Results Announcement: Wednesday, June 18, 2025* (*subject to change). Selected participants
will be notified individually.
