For students who consider applying for the 2025 spring exchange program as an architecture major,
please note that there are only limited courses offered in English, and the decision for the admission to the architecture department is to be determined by the faculty members.
There are two types of courses for exchange students in the college of architecture (English-taught):
1. Theoretical course
-Construction management (3 credits)
-Construction practice of the traditional Korean architecture (3 credits)
2. Studio course
-Architectural design 1 (5 credits)
-Architectural design 3 (5 credits)
-Architectural design 5 (5 credits)
-Architectural design 6 (5 credts)
-Architectural design & formal representation 1 (4 credits)
-Space design 1 (5 credits)
-Space design 3 (5 credits)
-Space design 5 (5 credits)
*Different numbers mean different professors. And time table will be determined in early January, 2025.
For the theoretical course, you are required to submit the followings to this email: camu@mju.ac.kr
(at the latest by December 6, Friday 18:00 KST)
1. Academic transcript and portfolio (all in English language)
2. Proof of English language proficiency (Minimum IELTS 4.0~5.0, TOEFL iBT 42 - 71, CEFR B1 level)
3. After reviewing your portfolio, you will receive an email with the registration result.
4. If your admission to the architecture department is denied, you may re-apply online by choosing a different faculty.
